AICD’s 2016 NFP Governance and Performance Study highlighted the key themes, challenges and opportunities the not-for-profit (NFP) sector is currently facing. One of the Study’s findings highlights the need for further and specialised development of current and aspiring directors in the NFP sector.

Fulfilling the duties of a director in the NFP sector requires a strong understanding of the principles of governance, financial acumen and a discerning grasp of risk and strategy. Our Governance Foundations for Not-for-Profit Directors course is designed to build the skills of executives reporting to boards and directors in the sector.

This one and a half day course in Brisbane will equip participants with a clear understanding of the role, duties and responsibilities of executives and directors in the NFP sector, and the importance of good governance for organisational performance.
