Grant open: IMPACT Philanthropy Application Program
The IMPACT Philanthropy Application Program is open. It allows philanthropists and NFPs to connect, and allows NFPs to show how they improve outcomes for their communities.
They encourage high quality outcomes by identifying organisations which can maximise their impact through: good governance; solid leadership; strong strategy; an outcomes focus.
IMPACT Program grant amounts
Grants generally range between $10,000 and $100,000. Over recent years, the average grant has been $75,000. The maximum amount an organisation can request is $120,000 per application.
Eligibility for IMPACT Philanthropy Application Program
Your organisation must be at least one of the following to be eligible for funding:
- Registered charity
- ATO Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR1) endorsement
When the IMPACT Program closes
The application program closes on 4 December 2020 at 5.00 pm AEDT. Late applications will not be considered.
Funded projects
Perpetual, the funder, manage hundreds of trusts and endowments that support a wide range of projects and interest areas. This includes:
- Social Welfare
- Health
- Medical Research
- Conservation and Environment
- Education
- Animal Welfare
- Arts and Culture
Projects can be at different developmental stages. This includes pilot and existing projects, capacity building and operational costs.
Assessment criteria for the IMPACT Program
The assessment criteria are based on the governance of the organisation and the activity. Assessment is based on questions specific to the criteria below:
- Strategy
- Outcomes
- Capability
- Leadership
Period of funding
Funding is generally provided as a single year one-off grant. For example, funds received in 2021 should ideally be spend and/or projects completed by 30 June 2022.
