Business tips from the tourism industry
Great business tips from an industry that knows how to focus on the customer
I’ve always been impressed with the amount of valuable information the tourism industry provides its operators. At a recent workshop run by Tourism & Events Queensland staff, I noted some great tips that can be used no matter what industry you’re in.
The TEQ staff toured Queensland (who wouldn’t want to with our glorious winter weather at the moment) to talk about the Best of Queensland Experiences Program.
The program is all about identifying the experiences that best brings your business story to life, to consistently deliver a high-quality customer experience. It’s also about putting consumer expectations at the forefront of what you do to continually grow market share.
If you want to learn more about this, head to TEQ’s website and type in the program’s name. While you’re on the site, check out their Storytelling toolkit that explains how to develop memorable stories about your business. People remember stories better than general text, so it’s a more effective way to market you and your business.
I’ve adapted the information for you and I’d love to hear whether you’ve found it useful.
